Soda Fabric's new song "Teenage Illusion" recalls the right amount of adolescent confusion with sludgy guitars and reaching guitar riffs.
Harmonies from deep, bellowing voices glide over layered guitars creating a somber yet bursting expression. It's kind of like a really good dream that you wake up from, and then realize you've slid into a nightmare. Maybe like a disrupted wet dream that turns into an action movie? That's something you'll have to determine for yourself.
The track is off of the lo-fi Berlin band's debut LP Atlantis set to be released in June. Completely mixed by Max Bloom of Yuck, a limited cassette release will be available through Burger Records. There's only 200 of them, so don't wait to dive into their hazy dreams lo-fi style.
